Film Maker Pro
Film Maker Pro (FMP) is a cinematic director's tool for FiveM (GTA V) — a Premiere / Blender-style stage where you spawn a scene, choreograph it, and film it on a real timeline.
Think of it as three things in one:
A stage. Fly a free camera anywhere, spawn actors, vehicles, props, particles, cameras, sounds and text, and place them exactly where you want with a gizmo.
A director. Record cars driving, capture ped performances, build synchronized scenes, place cinematic cameras, and drive the whole world (weather, time, gravity…).
A sequencer. Lay everything on a Premiere-style timeline — clips on lines, a master playhead, keyframes, nested subsequences — and press Play to see the whole film come together.
Everything plays as a pure function of the playhead: give the timeline a time and it reconstructs the exact state of the scene. That is what makes scrubbing, looping and previewing reliable.
Who this guide is for
This is a user guide — how to use FMP to build and film scenes. It walks each part of the tool, from opening it for the first time to exporting a finished shot. No coding required.
How to read it
If you're brand new, start with Getting Started and follow the pages in order — each one builds on the last. If you already know your way around, jump straight to the feature you need from the sidebar.
A few conventions used throughout:
Free Mode = the tool's free-fly camera (press
G). Most placing and world interaction happens here. The Timeline = the bottom dock where you sequence clips.
Keys shown like
F7are the defaults — every key is rebindable in Settings.
Tip: Nearly every button has a hover tooltip that tells you exactly what it does and its shortcut. When in doubt, hover.
